In 1929, Cyril Glecoff opened a family grocery store in Oshawa, beginning a retail tradition that would continue through several generations.
Decades later, Andy and Sandra Glecoff discovered an opportunity to purchase a department store in Haliburton. They made the move in 1995, with their son Clay joining the business from the beginning.
Over the years, the store became a familiar part of downtown Haliburton. In 2019, the family officially changed its name from V&S Department Store to Glecoff's Family Store, reflecting both its history and its future.
Today, Clay and Amy Glecoff continue that family tradition, building on the store's reputation for variety, value and personal service.
